Jenning's Point/Kissing Rock
SHELTER ISLAND PADDLER CLUB
Jenning's Point and Kissing Rock are very turbulent during the summer season
due to the many boats, but the current is fast and water is choppy year-round during
the ebb and flow.

Stay out away from the many large rocks and boulders that caress the shoreline
near the point. The fishing is good around this area, but be prepared to adjust your
position every minute or two as you will drift quickly.

A beautiful sight is the red and white gazebo off the edge of the property that is
Camp Quinipet, a Methodist retreat.

Take a few minutes to pull up and perch yourself atop Kissing Rock to enjoy a
beautiful sunset or watch the many boats go by.
