Menantic Creek lies to the west of Midway Road. Entering the quiet creek near the
entrance to the Island Boatyard, you'll pass many docks and beautiful houses that
highlight the shoreline. You may even catch a glimpse of a deer hopping along the
thin, sandy strips of beaches.
When paddling, stay to the side for entering and exiting boat traffic, as there can be
a lot during the height of the summer season.
As for put-in spots, you'll find two town landings at Tarkettle Road and Conrad Road.
