Smith Cove
Smith Cove is northeast of South
Ferry.

Smith Cove, located to the east of South Ferry, is an area of water that is beached
by Mashomack and South Ferry Hills.
Depending on the flow of the current through South Ferry channel and the amount
of boat traffic, Smith Cove has a tendency to be choppy at times, but you can find
solace in the calmer waters near the small marina area.
Beware of large boulders near the shoreline and large rocks just below the water
surface because they can put some good scratches on your kayak or canoe.
As osprey are always present, keep an eye out for the bald eagles that have been
gracing the area lately.
